Dharamsala is the famous town
Mcleodganj often called the ‘Little
Lhasa’. This is the residence
of HH the Dalai Lama. The Tibetan
Government in exile has been here
for almost four decades. The impressive
monastery has larger than life
images of the Buddha, Padmasambhava
and Avalokteshwara.
A large Tibetan community and
the presence of traditional
architectural designs drawn
from Tibet have enhanced the
charm of the area. A host of
Tibetan handicrafts and garments
are available.

Mcleodganj, 12 kms from the
resort, is the abode of His
Holiness Dalai Lama. Inaddition,
two famous temples are within
a 20 km radius. In February,
the festive month for Tibetans,
audience with His Holiness the
Dalai Lama may be sought.
Nearby at Palampur, a picturesque
hill station 30 kilometers away,
paragliding is an exciting seasonal
activity, while at Dharmakot,
Snowtrucking is a way of life!
The area has the second highest
rainfall in the region.
The Resort is located amidst
of residential houses, behind
beautiful snow-capped Himalayan
ranges- within an aerial distance
of one kilometre.
