The term lifestyle includes many aspects of our lives—from what we choose to wear to how we decorate our homes, and from how we live day-to-day to how we spend our holidays. By choosing a specific lifestyle approach, we say that we not only want to look different but we also want to live differently.

Our trip to Munnar was our first through Club Mahindra. We had planned our visit well in advance and booked a cottage for us to stay at. All three of us were quite excited as the day for us to leave for our holiday came closer. It was to be a weeklong trip to Kerala with four days reserved exclusively for Munnar.

Veni, Vedi, Visa—I came, I saw, I shopped. No matter how much you resist, no matter how much you hate to shop, it is next to impossible to come to Thailand and not go crazy shopping. You can shop for electronics, clothes, toys, antiques, shoes, bags, souvenirs, jewellery and anything under the sun. You might arrive with a modest suitcase and handbag but on your return journey end up paying for extra baggage at the airport!

Summer vacations are reminiscent of my school days, where after months of waking up early to go to school, finally arrived the long summer holidays. It was the most awaited season for me at the time, filled with fun activities, long hours of playtime with friends, and most importantly, family holidays. I loved holidaying with my parents; we visited several places like Mahableshwar, Matheran, Ooty, Chennai and Bangalore. Although it was fun, we’d only been to places with relatively high temperatures.

Birds use their nests to lay eggs and bring up young ones. It is a common idea that they use them to sleep in—this is not correct! There is a wide variety to be found in bird nests. Commonly, birds make cup shaped nests of grass and twigs and place them in trees.
