So many places to go, so little time in hand. Worry not… here’s a list of some of this year’s most sought-after holiday destinations. More exotic, more ethereal, these are places you must visit if you are planning a holiday anytime soon.

Around the World

Turkey

Officially the Republic of Turkey, this Eurasian country boasts of beaches that are perfect to make an escape from our mundane daily lives. Palaces, monuments, religion, history — name it and you have it here. For a one-stop spot to get to know the country better, make a trip to Istanbul. Bars, galleries, clubs, fashion shows and shopping destinations will give you the time of your life… while the magnificent Ottoman mosques will take you back in time. For fans of picturesque landscapes, Pergamum is a must-visit! Also known as Bergama, the great Anatolian slopes are nothing short of wonder-inducing. Ephesus is the ultimate destination for history lovers. The remains of the erstwhile elaborate Roman city will take you through the magnificence of the ages!

South Africa

From the Zulus and wildlife sanctuaries to posh nightclubs, South Africa has it all. Begin your holiday with the Kruger National Park. The sanctuary, with wild animals running amok amidst the bushwillow and the savannah, is mandatory for visitors who set foot in the country.

Drakensberg is the place to visit if your heart sings a song of adventure. Though famous for the hiking game, visitors may not have much time for it as the awesome landscapes will rob them of their breath!

For a taste of South African city life, make your way to Cape Town, which promises its visitors a good time from the moment they land. Walk down the streets to find bars littering the streets and joints alluring you with aromas of incredibly scrumptious food. And with so much to do here, make sure your tour isn’t a whirlwind one.
