We go on a holiday to get away from it all, the hustlebustle, the noise and the stress. The most memorable holidays are those filled with never before views and experiences. Over the years, Mahindra Holidays has made a fine tradition of memorable holidays with picturesque resorts at breathtaking destinations, heart-warming service, delicious food and exciting activities.

But when does a MEMORABLE holiday become MEANINGFUL? When it touches your heart and sensitises you to the needs of those who are underprivileged or marginalised.

That is the cornerstone of the CHEERS programme at Mahindra Holidays. To make memorable holidays meaningful. By allowing the members to participate in reach out programmes that seek to Contribute to the Health, Education, and Environment to Revitalise the Society.

CHEERS was launched in 2008 and since then has been active at key resorts at Coorg, Munnar and Goa.

At Coorg, local artisans of the community have been empowered by having their products retailed at the resort’s souvenir shop. The resort hands over the sales proceeds to the artisans, while retaining a nominal percentage towards administration fees. Guests are encouraged to buy the products of the artisans and thereby add their strength to CHEERS.

This CHEERS initiative has been rolled out to other resorts such as Pondicherry, thereby allowing CHEERS to truly add cheers to local artisans.

• We have had a great holiday till now and are going to check-out tomorrow. This visit is surely the highlight of our holiday. Whilst we had a lot of fun, this visit along with Mahindra Holidays gave some meaning to our holiday.
• Most hotels and resorts just concentrate on pure recreation; it was heartwarming to see this resort conducting such a noble initiative. All the best to CHEERS.
• I work for Infosys and we are actively involved in CSR activities, but we never ever considered such an initiative could be taken. Kudos to Club Mahindra.
