Dear Club Mahindra member,
It is not often that one gets to work in an area that one
loves. I have been lucky as I got the opportunity to set
up, build and develop Mahindra Holidays.
From setting up an organisation where I was the first employee, to nurturing it into the biggest holiday company in India with 34 resorts and over 125,000 member families, a brand with the highest recall in the holiday category and a successful IPO, Club Mahindra has been a journey of hard work, dedication, joy, learning and delight — an eclectic mix of effort and great emotions.
But the biggest reward perhaps has been in knowing that we have delivered memorable holidays and brought happiness to our half a million customers – you and your family!
In this journey, what has contributed the most has been your feedback and interactions. There was so much of learning and the excitement of translating your preferences into amenities, facilities and processes so that it continues to delight all of you. Thank you very much.
Some months ago, I requested the group for a move into a new area and they were kind enough to accept it. I step down as Managing Director of Mahindra Holidays as of April 30, 2011. I am moving on to head the Mahindra Group’s new initiative in education – centres of excellence and other learning platforms for the hospitality business.
I thank you for supporting all our efforts in offering
you memorable holidays. I am sure you will continue
to support us in all our endeavours to bring you and
your families newer and more interesting holiday
experiences.
