My trip to Club Mahindra Naukuchiatal (CM N) has been a memorable one and that has come to true only because of few personnel that I would like to mention in this review. Bhairab (FO Sup), Gobind Yadav (F&B), Chef Pratap Singh and Vineeta.
To do away with the basics, road to Naukuchital from Gurgaon via NH24 is smooth, barring the 15 KM patch between Bilaspur and Rudrapur.
My check in into the hotel was handled by Bhairab. Besides being the most courteous, he was also very efficient in making the entire paperwork smooth. He gave us multiple room options to choose from, before we settled for room no. 105. The room was not the first choice, but considering the other rooms on higher floors and a 6 months old kid with, we settled for 105.
Rooms at CM N, are spacious and clean. The only thing that they lack is the view. None of the room is lake facing and this was a big disappointment. But, even CM N cannot do much about it.
It was Valentine Day and I wanted to spend some personal moments with my better half. This was made come true by Gobind Yadav (F&B Manager). Accepting our last minute confirmation as a challenge he diverted all his resources in arranging a dedicated outdoor with mood lighting and music. Chef Pratap Singh complimented the efforts by preparing the menu selection of my choice. I would rate all the efforts a great deal, as the hotel was hosting a special function for all the residents, where the entire F&B staff was engaged. Pulling out and dedicating staff of 2 people with their customized menu was certainly a challenge.
Our biggest challenge in the entire was in accommodating our 6 months old angel in an open air arrangement in Naukuchiatal on 14th feb when the temp. was 8 deg. Vineeta, made it come true. She volunteered to attend our baby in our room while we were enjoying in our room. Nowhere can this ever happen besides CM. I find myself out words when it comes to thank Vineeta and CM. THANK YOU VINEETA.
Now comes the beautiful part, romantic mood lighting, soft instrumental music, wood fire, candle light dinner and mouthwatering 4 course dinner. One will have to browse the picture to understand what I intend to say here. THANKS CHEF PRATAP AND GOBOND, both of you are gems and stars of CM N.
Next day morning, not realizing that Bhairab had taken a note of our little displeasure, we got a call from FO that they can change the room if we so like. We migrated to room no. 101 and it was indeed bigger and better. THANKS BHAIRAB.
Little shy, I called up HK for sterilizing our babyâ€™s water bottles. HK team offered us their sterilizing machine at our disposal. It was a big help.
Not sure when did Gobind catch us that our little angle had completed her 6 months a day before and wallahâ€¦ in evening we had a cake with compliments of the hotel. If this is not a customer delight, then what is?
With this, I conclude my experience and rate my overall experience of CM N as â€˜EXCELLENTâ€™.2015-02-17
