    Forest

    Jolly Grant near Dehradun, about 90kms away is the closest airport. Once there it’s approximately a 2 hour drive to our resort. The Dehradun – Rishikesh road you will initially follow will take you through a forest right until you reach Rishikesh.

    Petrol bunk

    After about 17 km you’ll arrive at a junction. About 150m to the right will be an Indian Oil Petrol station and an Axis Bank ATM will be to your left. Follow that left turn until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right and then a left on to NH94. Before that you could halt at Rishikesh. These places are worth checking out.

    Food

    Oasis Restaurant: At New Bhandari Swiss Cottage, this restaurant is refined, with candlelit tables in the garden and hanging lanterns inside. The menu ransacks multiple world cuisines; from Mexican and Thai to Israeli and Tibetan, and features a number of chicken dishes including a delicious chilli chicken.

    Temple

    Swarg Ashram: A 2 Km walk from the Lakshman Jhula along the path skirting the east bank of the Ganges leads to the spiritual community of Swarg Ashram, made up of temples, ashrams, shops and the bathing ghats where religious ceremonies are performed at sunrise and sunset. Many twists and turns and about 15 Km later you will reach Narendranagar. Continue following NH94 for another 44 m till you get to Chamba, Uttarakhand (The other Chamba is in Himachal Pradesh and is about 550 Km away. Our resort is not there). From Chamba it’s just another wiggly 14 Km or 30 mins to Club Mahindra, Kanatal.
