Enroute Guide: Udaipur - Kumbalgarh

    Udaipur

    Kumbhalgarh is 78 Kms from Udaipur and it takes around 2.5 hrs drive. The road is a narrow single lane road but it is in good conditions, you will pass through few villages as a result you will have to drive slowly. Do not travel during late evenings or night as it is a very lonely location.

    Chetak Circle

    Start from Udaipur, and drive to the North -West of Udaipur to get to Kumbhalgarh.

    Major landmarks you would pass through are Chetak Circle, Sukhadia Circle and Fatehpura.

    Drive towards Iswal which is about 11 kms from Udaipur.

    Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary

    At Iswal make a right turn toward Kumbhalgarh sanctuary. Follow the directions on the road. Please do note, the road is not good all the way and be careful of stray buffaloes, cattle and other domestic fowl on the road. Do slow down and give them way.
