The land of forts…

Just two hours drive from Udaipur and south of Jaipur, Kumbhalgarh (also called the ‘Land of Forts’), Rajasthan, derives its name from the magnificent Kumbhalgarh Fort. A symbol of the past glory of the Kings of the Mewar Kingdom, this fort is considered  the most magnificent of the 84 forts that stood during the Mewar Kingdom.
