Mahindra Holidays & Resorts Chairman, Mr. Arun Nanda, expressed his profound grief on the demise of Dr. Chef P Soundarajan through a heartfelt letter.

Dear Members,

With a very heavy heart, I want to share a sad news. Our very dear Chef Soundarajan passed away last evening while addressing a webinar in his favourite chef’s uniform. Chef, as I affectionately called him, was a dear friend and one of the first employees of the company. I cannot even imagine, how to measure his contributions to our company.  All I can say is he was one of the most important pillars on which our company was built. He laid such a strong foundation for our Food & Beverage division, that even today our 250000+ member families continue to enjoy and compliment us for the excellent food we serve in our resorts. It is really sad that he left us at the young age of 64. Probably God wanted a good man in heaven.

Please join me as we pray for his peace in his new abode.

RIP Chef Soundarajan, we will miss you.

Yours in grief,

Arun Nanda
