For Members / Guests Looking to Travel, here are some Travel safety guidelines for domestic travel issued by the Central Government of India:

These travel safety guidelines are applicable to members and guests who are looking to travel via air, train or/and inter-state buses to ensure safe travel.

1) Do’s and Don'ts for the domestic travel will be issued to the travellers along with tickets by the concerned agencies

2) All passengers are advised to download the Arogya Setu app

3) Announcements about COVID-19 like precautionary measures will be made at airports, railway stations, bus terminals, and transportation vehicles

4) The States and UTs will ensure that all passengers undergo thermal screening at the point of departure. Only asymptomatic passengers are allowed to board their mode of transportation.

5) During boarding and travelling, all passengers will have to use masks and follow hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene, and maintain environmental hygiene

6) At airports, railway stations, and bus terminals social distancing measures have to be followed

7) Airports, railway stations, bus terminals, etc. should be regularly sanitised and the availability of soaps and sanitisers will be ensured

8) Thermal screening will be arranged at exit points

9) Asymptomatic passengers will be allowed to self-monitor their health at home for 14 days (home quarantine). In case of developing any symptoms, they will inform the concerned authority.

10) Those found symptomatic need to be isolated, taken to the nearest health facility, and assessed for clinical severity

11) Those having moderate to severe symptoms will be admitted to dedicated COVID-19 health facilities and be managed accordingly

12) Those having mild symptoms will be given an option of home isolation or will be isolated in the COVID-19 Care Centre facilities and tested as per ICMR protocol available at https://www.mohfw.gov.in/pdf/Revisedtestingguidelines.pdf. If positive, they will continue in COVID-19 Care Centre and will be managed as per clinical protocol. If negative, the passenger may be allowed to go home, isolate themselves, and self monitor their health for an additional seven days. In case, any symptoms develop they shall contact the concerned authority

Unlock 4.0 safety guidelines that are concerned with travel as issued by the Central Government

1) States can no longer impose lockdowns outside containment zones without the Centre’s permission and must not seal borders

2) Metro services to resume from September 7, 2020 in a graded manner

3) Social, academic, cultural, religious, political functions, sports, entertainment, and other congregations permitted with a ceiling of 100 people.

4) Strict measures like mandatory wearing of face masks, social distancing, and thermal scanning provisions to be observed in congregations

5) Open-air theatres to reopen from September 21, 2020

6) No restrictions and no separate permission or e-permits needed for inter-state and intra-state movement of peoples and goods

7) Cinema halls, swimming pools, theatres, entertainment parks, and other such places to remain closed. (We have followed the same at our resorts where these facilities will remain closed)

8) International air travel, other than what is permitted by MHA to stay suspended

9) Older people over the age of 65 and young children below ten years of age are advised to stay at home

State-wise Travel Guidelines for Members / Guests

India’s domestic travel operations are being guarded and guided by stern safety measures. Centre and different states and cities in India have announced different travel guidelines. Here is a curated list of quarantine requirements for different states:

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Goa

1) Quarantine requirements: All passengers arriving in Goa have to undergo 14 days of home quarantine, or 14-day paid institutional quarantine. Institutional quarantine is mandatory for symptomatic passengers until the test results are out

2) COVID-19 test is required to be done for all symptomatic passengers entering Goa

3) Passenger obligation: Declaration form to be filed before or on arrival into Goa

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Gujarat

1) Quarantine requirements: Asymptomatic domestic travellers entering Gujarat won’t be quarantined. However, they need to self-monitor their health for 14 days. Whereas, international travellers need to undergo seven days of paid institutional quarantine followed by seven days of home quarantine

2) Thermal screening will be done for all passengers

3) It is mandatory for all passengers arriving in Surat to fill the online ‘Novel Corona Self-reporting Form’ and download the SMC COVID-19 tracker app

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Himachal Pradesh

1) Quarantine requirements: 14 days of institutional quarantine for passengers arriving from any Red Zone district outside of Himachal Pradesh or passengers having ILI symptoms irrespective of the zone from where they are coming. 14 days of home quarantine for passengers arriving from any Red Zone district outside of Himachal Pradesh and are carrying COVID-19 negative test report from ICMR authorised lab not older than 48 hours from the date of departure

2) COVID-19 test is not required for Himachal Pradesh. Thermal screening will be done for all passengers

3) App: Corona MuktHimachal

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Karnataka

1) Quarantine requirements: No mandatory quarantine for 14 days for people coming in from other states

2) Karnataka has removed every single restriction in Unlock 4.0

3) Bengaluru Metro to resume operations from September 7 in a graded manner

4) Open-air theatres to open from September 21

5) App: Seva Sindhu

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Kerala

1) Quarantine requirements: All asymptomatic passengers to undergo 14 days of mandatory home quarantine upon arrival. Passengers visiting Kerala for less than seven days are exempted from home quarantine provided they obtain an entry pass for a short visit from the Jagratha portal

2) ePass is still mandatory in Kerala

3) App: GoK Direct

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Maharashtra

1) Quarantine requirements: Mandatory 14-day home isolation for all domestic passengers arriving in Mumbai

2) Significantly ease in restrictions with Unlock 4.0 guidelines such as no restriction on inter-district movement of persons and goods

3) Hotels and lodges will be allowed to operate at 100 percent capacity from September 2

4) Mumbai Metro to resume operations from September 7, 2020 in a phased manner

5) App: Mahakavach

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Madhya Pradesh

1) Quarantine requirements: For Bhopal, if a passenger is found symptomatic, COVID-19 test to be performed. Institutional quarantine until the test result is available. Quarantining not required for Indore

2) Thermal screening and health profiling shall be done upon arrival

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Puducherry

1) Quarantine requirements: Not required

2) No restriction in terms of interstate travel

3) No ePass needed for travel

4) App: Test Yourself Puducherry

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Rajasthan

1) Quarantine requirements: 14 days of voluntary home quarantine for all domestic passengers. International passengers need to undergo seven days of paid institutional quarantine followed by seven days of home quarantine if no symptoms are found. Those who want to seek exemption from institutional quarantine will have to submit a negative RT-PCR report to the state portal before boarding the flight

2) COVID-19 test will be conducted for all symptomatic passengers following the thermal screening

For Members / Guests Looking To Travel To Uttarakhand

1) Quarantine requirements: Seven days institutional quarantine for travellers coming from high load COVID-19 infected cities followed by seven days of home quarantine. 14 days home quarantine for travellers coming from less affected cities

2) All passengers travelling to Uttarakhand need to register on state website: smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in

3) COVID-19 test will be carried out at Uttarakhand on a random basis Thermal screening to be conducted for all passengers

4) App: Uttarakhand CV 19 Tracking System
