Usually during holi we make dry wada, wet wada, meetha rice, mogar, potato vegetable, poori and fried papad. It really simple to make anyone can make it. Even before my marriage I used to prepare same dishes and after the marriage also I saw my in-laws really cool with these dishes which actually made me really happy and now even after 21 years of marriage I am still making that same dishes on holi.

Hi Friends, I am Koyel and I find words magical. The way they connect us fascinates me. For me, words are a vital tool to create a bond between us. I love communicating with people and making friends. Naturally, when the time came to choose a career, I opted for HR. I was happy with my choice as my profession gave me ample scope to come in contact with different people and help them. However, a few years down the line, I had to leave my job due to certain reasons. I got back to my first love and started working as a freelance content writer. I worked from home, had my own routine, and was happy to learn and write on different topics. I took up challenges and tried different genres like blog writing, eBook writing, and developing content for different websites. However, I longed to express my ideas. I wanted to write my thoughts and connect to readers across the world. Thus, http://quillinglife.com/ was born. This blog is for anyone who wants to pursue their dreams and create a better and happier life. Due to work pressure, I couldn’t concentrate on this blog and felt bad at not writing more. For two years, I barely worked on the blog and it lay idle. My dream was lost in the humdrum of daily life. In the meantime, the pandemic came and created havoc in our lives. We were forced to stay indoors and devise a new routine for ourselves. As we reeled under the stress of home isolation, I found a new avenue to express my thoughts. I decided to take up this opportunity to help people cope with the stress. Somehow, I managed to squeeze out time for my blog and wrote several posts on pandemic and other related issues. In the last year, I have really stretched myself and pushed the envelope. I have started dreaming again of becoming a blogger. I am learning new skills of blogging and applying them in my blog. I feel I have found my calling and want to pursue writing and touching lives of people around me. Here are a few blogs that have been popular with my friends. Maybe, they will give you some ideas about leading a better life. http://quillinglife.com/life-in-lockdown-remain-strong-happy/ http://quillinglife.com/lockdown-life-easier-kids/ http://quillinglife.com/lockdown-hobby-gardening/

Recipe for TAVSALI ( Traditional Cucumber Cake ) Ingredients : Cucumber – 1 large Thick Semolina ( broken wheat) - Depending on the size of Cucumber Jaggery – 1 cup Scraped coconut – ½ cup Cashewnuts – 10 – 12 Cardamom powder – 1 tsp Salt to taste Method : Wash, peel and grate the cucumber. Measure the quantity of grated cucumber and transfer it into a pan and add 1/2 measure of thick semolina, 1 cup jaggery, salt to taste, ½ cup scraped coconut, cashew nuts broken into pieces and cardamom powder. Heat the above mixture constantly stirring so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Let the mixture steam in its own juices for a while. Shut the flame and let it rest for a while. Grease a baking tin or the traditional Tavsali Paatra ( An utensil that has a base to be filled with sand and a pot with batter to be directly placed on the gas stove to be baked, refer the attached pic.), pour the steamed mixture into the baking utensil and either bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 1 hour or place on the gas stove and let it bake for 1 hour. Give it a resting time of about half an hour before you enjoy it.

This recipe needs oil plus sugar in the form of jaggery.

I have visited 15 resorts and my experience have been generally awesome, barring a couple of not so great experiences. Being a foodie, I always go for the buffet, wherever I go. My favorites are Varca for variety, Madikeri for innovation and Thekkady for deliciousness. The places that disappointed me were Munnar and Virajpet and I have given strong feedback at both these resorts.

Continue to visit the Club Mahindra website frequently and get updates on resorts and many changes introduced in the improvement of membership services by Club Mahindra. Still, the Member Relation team is still available every time. But for local travel, though we always explore potential local travelling spots, still we always take the guidance of local tour managers available on travel desk at every resort as they always guide on Travel method and safety precautions to be taken for the family.

Each season has its own charm or disadvantages. Rajasthan becomes very hot during days but turns comparatively pleasant after night fall (personal experience of almost 6 years in various parts of Rajasthan). Now we talk of photography. Winters are best as you can be out through out the day and keep clicking pictures. In summers you get to click pictures of subjects through Mirage which gives an amazing touch to it. Golden rule is that GOLDEN hours are the best. Any picture taken in broad day light has harsh shadow accompanying it. Example of Golden Hour picture

Whoa! This is of immense interest to me. Thanks! Not alone as a mother of a small kid but having headed a profession relating to kids as Centre Director, I have had a wonderful experience and exposure to deal with various age groups. It has been a very reassuring and fulfilling journey more so as I have a small child in that age group. Glad to share my daughter is well exposed to such moral stories and enjoyed this one too. I was glad to know she completely understands the virtues associated with satisfaction and contentment. In her words, ‘We must love ourselves, we must respect ourselves, and we must be happy with EVERYTHING (with stress!) God has given us. We should be thankful to God. We must love our home, our family. We should be happy with our room and our toys only.” (About toys, I think she mentioned because I taught her to share her toys with her friends.) “Sharing is caring” is her anthem.

I am not sure what you meant by amazing adventure sports - they do have the zip lining and a few other activities. All activities conducted by Club Mahindra at their property are safe. I cannot vouch for off-site activities as they may be conducted by third parties.
