We had booked a 1BR apartment. The room was wonderfully arranged. There was afternoon rain as it was summer. The view of the Anayirangal dam is a sight. The summer heat has depleted the water level in the dam. A morning stroll in the resort is actually with the birds. Behind the resort is dense woods where I saw a giant Malabar squirrel. The sunlight falling on it brings out the red, brown and black colors mesmerizingly. I also saw a pair of jungle mynas. There are several points in the resort from where one can get a breath taking view of the valley below. I am looking forward to my next visit here.
