Mashobra is a small village located at a distance of about 14 km from Shimla. It's an 8.5 hours drive from Delhi. Not a highly commercialized place yet hence gives you a much-needed relaxed space to rejuvenate and give some fresh air to your lungs after living in the toxic air of the Capital Delhi.

Places to visit near Mashobra

1. Shimla Mall road: Half an hour's drive from Mashobra. Head towards Chota Shimla and park your vehicle in multi-level parking near the lift area. Use a lift to go directly to Mall road instead of climbing through the roads. It will save you the much-needed energy to spend on Mall road. The lift costs Rs 10 per person one way. Mall road is a place for shopping lovers. It has some great views from the church area at center of Mall road. We had lunch at Loveena restaurant near the church area. It offers decent food quality at a reasonable price. We found it worth for money spent.
2.  Jhaku Temple: Temple is about 20 mins drive from Mashobra. You can take your car until the temple gate. Temple is located at a height of 8,000 feet highest peak of the city. Here we have a 108 feet statue of lord Hanuman, a good place to visit and take blessings from God. It is built in the memory of Saint Yaksh who has guided lord Hanuman towards the place where he can find " Sanjeevani Booti" for lord Laxman.
3. Craignano Nature Park: 20 mins drive from Mashobra. It houses a great variety of trees and flowers located between green mountains. A good place to spend time with family and feel the warmth of sunlight in the usually cold weather of Mashobra. It also has a few rides and swings for kids to enjoy nature.
4. Sanjouli: 15 mins drive from Mashobra. Park your vehicle at multi-level parking near Sanjouli police station and enjoy a walk to the market. It houses a decent market for shopping lovers. Can find some great deals in Meena Bazaar mall near Sanjouli police station. Enjoy your food at City Point restaurant, the best place in Sanjouli to have your meals. It gives some amazing views of the high mountains while sitting in a heated place inside the restaurant. The restaurant has good hygiene and a variety of food to taste. We found it good in terms of hygiene, variety, and taste of food.
