In welcoming the new year, we wanted to visit a Club Mahindra resort that is reachable, pleasant, and good for kids to spend their holidays happily. While browsing, we found Madikeri Resort which is reachable to us via driving from Kerala and Chennai. Through youtube videos, we understood it being green, set up amidst a coffee plantation, and having fun-filled activities for kids. Having booked the resort, we started from our location (Kerala and Chennai) and reached the place in the evening.

The initial signage board near Rajah's seat point was misleading whereas, it was convincing as we noticed other signage boards while passing through. We had booked three studio rooms and it was provided to us in the Avocado cottage. The rooms as expected were well-maintained and clean. I always loved the housekeeping service provided by the Club Mahindra team and the same was noticed in this resort too. Special thanks to Drupel (Housekeeping in charge -- might have misspelled his name). Whenever we wanted to clean up the place due to kids messing around or any other housekeeping work he ensured the needs are met immediately.

Mr. Chandan was the food and beverage in charge. He is a very polite person. We had our dinner and breakfast for day 1 at the resort itself. The buffet was good but we felt that the buffet items, and set-up  could have improved. Also noticed a lack of signage boards inside the resort which could be improved.

During our stay, we noticed two swimming pools but only one was kept operational. Kids and adults enjoyed the swimming pool fully. Even though the water was a bit cold, the kids loved it. They never wanted to come out of the swimming pool. We had a fun time in the Happy Hub. Whether, it was to watch the 12D movies, play pool table, Shuttle, or kids enjoying the indoor slides. The Dance hour in the evening was also energizing and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed dancing to the DJ.

Morning and evening walks in the greenery resort breathing fresh air and enjoying the pleasant weather made me feel good. We also made trips outside the resort to nearby places in Madikeri and others on our way back home. After shopping in Madikeri, we visited Kushal nagar, Buddhist Golden Temple, Sri Omkareshwar Temple, Coffee plantations within the resort, and Abbey falls. While on the way back home, we visited Brindavan Garden and Mysore palace.

Feedback-wise, I would request the front desk to provide more information on where to access what inside the resort. What is accessible for members and not? What is the difference between accessing BBQ and Buffet? Signage boards indicating where is what. The customer may or may not be aware of the resort amenities.

Our stay in the resort studio room with various activities made us feel rewarded. Listening to the birds chirping in the morning, Sun rising to its glory at 6.30 AM, Well-maintained rooms and pool, Happy hub activities stayed in our memory as magical moments, our big family had complete enjoyment.
