Our resort in Shimla was once hosting a guest who was accompanied by his elderly mother. The grand old lady was all of 80 years but her zeal for a vacation was just as young. Our team took proactive steps to make sure that she was comfortable at all times, starting with providing the member guests with a low level room so the lady need not climb.
Every time our team received a request from the room, we ensured that the guest requirements were met with promptly. During dinner we asked her for her food preferences and the kitchen team then prepared meals that suited her palette for the rest of their stay.
The guest was so touched by our special hospitality, that instead of checking out to another hotel where he was booked for two days, he spent those days here and cancelled the booking there. “Our stay here feels like home away from home!” he mentioned, while appreciating our efforts of providing complete care and service for them.
