Guests can become unwell at any time but that shouldn’t ruin their holiday. All our resorts are equipped to see to the wellbeing of our guests, and in cases where only a particular medication is required, we make sure to go out of our way and arrange for the medicines as quickly as possible. Once a member family accompanied by their 4-year-old son was staying at our resort in Mashobra in Shimla, when the little boy fell sick one day.
It was late in the evening when they requested the resort team to arrange for a specific homeopathic medicine for their son. The member in charge of our travel desk then tried to get the same from the local market but he was unable to find the exact medicine. Then he connected with one of his chauffeurs in the main city of Shimla but due to the late evening time, most of the medicine shops were closed.
Our team member did not give up. Leaving the travel desk in charge of a colleague, he paid a visit to the residence of a doctor who was known to him, and fortunately for him he found the required homeopathic medicine. All this had taken him an hour, but the efforts paid off when the boy was given the right medicine, and began to feel better.
The guests were quite touched with the level of our service, and appreciated our team's efforts.
