As a child, my wife and I had heard a lot of Mt Abu. Finally, we had a chance to visit, availing of Club Mahindra membership. Hotel Aravali came as a pleasant surprise - well-appointed, beautifully landscaped, surrounded by nature and despite the small size, very cozy and welcoming. The rooms are good and clean, the service prompt and efficient and the food at the restaurant is tastefully done, large portioned, and reasonably priced. The staff is courteous, non-intrusive and pleasant to interact with. We were made to feel at home. The environs and opportunities for sightseeing and walking the hilly paths are endless and the place has a rich history of India and various communities going back in time. Returning from these jaunts to the hotel was always a pleasant experience, made pleasurable by the fare and the staff. We recommend this place for those looking for a good homestay in Mt Abu.
