Despite advice from well-wishers, we took the Tour of Leh for 10 days. The First 2 days were spent adjusting to low temperature and oxygen. Subsequently visited Pangong lake and Nubra Valley along with other places. Visited the highest motorable road.

The food in Driftwood was superb and the guidance provided by Mr. Puneet was appropriate. PLEASE DO NOT OVERRULE HIS EXPERIENCE. The hotel may not be super luxury but was definitely in peaceful surroundings. Had the opportunity to have Darshan of THE Dalai Lama and explored the Culture of Leh. Thanks, Club Mahindra for giving me the opportunity to visit new destinations. Looking forward to many new initiatives.

There may be a sudden change in airlines plan so kindly budget for that. Additionally, one may have to stay outside LEH for 2/3 nights so consider making reservation after leaving vacant slots in between. You may also face network problems. Airtel is good and my son could work from LEH. Vodafone Network is non-existent.
