There is no better way to cool off from the summer heat than enjoying the wave pool and numerous rides in the Imagicaa water park. The park is a few hours from Mumbai and you can plan to leave early to reach the park gates by 10am. Don’t eat much if you going to the theme park first. The waterpark is a delight for kids and you’ll remain engaged at least until late noon.

Some Imgagicaa packages come with meals or you can simply buy it there. Some tips

a) Start early so that you can easily get through the entry line in the morning. You’ll need time to change, figure out lockers etc before you finally enter the fun zone.

b) Make sure you have your swimming costume, caps and goggles in place and also swim footwear.

c) Get a locker because you will need to put your belongings away.

d) Most important – get a phone waterproof cover from Mumbai or your hometown itself. They are insanely priced here. There are imagicaa people there who click photos but it is chargeable.

e) Some of the best rides start getting a long line soon. So try to go for those first before the entire crowd comes in.

f) Decide on a common meeting point with your family / friends.

The park is huge and everyone may have different rides to try. Decide to meet back at a particular point. In addition to the water park, we also spent some time at the snow park. It’s good fun for about an hour beyond which it got really cold for us to continue.

There are hardly any restaurants near imagica. Once you reach the Novotel Imagica hotel, you can relax there. The rooms are good and food is fine. If you plan to do both water park and theme park on different days or simply want to relax after a long day at imagicaa, do stay a night at the hotel. It good to have the privilege to do this as a Club Mahindra member as it would cost a huge amount otherwise!
