My parents just returned from a four-night holiday at Assonora. They had every word of admiration to speak about this resort. It is matchless. It is colossal. Club Mahindra needs big applause for the innovations they incorporated in this resort. I bet not even a single member would like to miss visiting it!

In my parents’ words: HAPPY HUB Just see the vastness of the HAPPY HUB! It’s simply unimaginable! The kind of setup in this huge space is simply fantastic! Besides the sprawling area, it is very meticulously planned. The board games are planned in such a way that the kids can play 6 games sitting in one place by turning the boards. We saw it nowhere before!

There is a science laboratory and games of magic areas for the kids to experience. Even a book on teaching 101 magic tricks was such an innovative and absorbing idea. All the four days they kept missing and imagining their grandchild (my 8 yr old daughter) jumping and screaming with delight to be at that area.

The children’s day was celebrated merrily. My mom enjoyed participating and also won the recipe contest.

POOL AREA As my parents both had health issues they could not enjoy the dip but swore they won’t miss the lazy river and the shallow water pool the next time and VERY SOON! The idea of keeping the pools a little higher level gives it the grandeur of another class. It is so camera-ready point! And the idea of a photographer plus the poolside snack bar is such lovely highlights. Full marks on it!

THE RECEPTION AREA Beats the standards of JW Marriott! It’s so spacious so well designed and so vibrant! It gives a look of a plush 5 star deluxe – they tried to bring JAUHARS here too. Then a coffee and pastry shop and what a wonderful seating plan! Simply fabulous!

CURRIES It’s quite spacious and the food is also lip-smacking! Good spread in all three meals. And every day 5-6 pm is the high tea time for those who have meal plans. Parents have a special mention of the courtesy of the staff who so kindly took care of them when they reached after 2 pm and were damn hungry! They were so well received and served the meal of their choice in just 5 minutes! No one could beat that!

ROOMS AND THE RESORT Very spacious rooms and very beautifully done! The materials and furnishings are very elegant! My parents love to read at night and they specially conveyed that

LIGHTING on the head side and everywhere and also the switches were so convenient and well laid out. Fabulous. The kitchen could have been a little bigger, but that’s ok considering who needs to work there except for the tea. They noticed the flooring of the path! It has a special stone that gives the impression that it just rained! The path shines and looks bathed and awesome. The room plan is just like TUNGI resort and is superb! The view from the balcony especially when it rained was awesome.

My parents have a special mention of Ms. LISZEL, who took care of them right from their arrival till their departure. They extend their admiration for her efficient work. Mr. SAVIO at the reception was also very helpful. I might have forgotten what all parents gladly shared but here I feel a great sense of pride for this great organization that takes special care of the senior citizens! They had all praise for everything and I take this opportunity to extend my grateful thanks on their behalf and share a few pictures they clicked.
