Recently we visited Forest Escape Resort, Koyananagar in May 2023. It was a great pleasure and had an excitement to have a stay in the forest and enjoy the beauty of nature. As usual, they welcomed us with a glass of co cum juice, the beauty of Konkan. It is a nice property with clean and well-disciplined staff.

There are many tempting plants those are attracting many beautiful and colorful birds. The morning atmosphere is good with the chirp of these lovely birds. On the property, they have cultivated an organic farm where they take many vegetables used in their kitchen. We had a tour of this farm and had a nice, hot herbal tea. In the night, we had a night ride deep into the forest in search of animals. We didn't find the animal but, could see the darkness which nowadays we don't see.

At one point, the driver stopped the vehicle closing all lamps the vehicle to hear the animal sound. No mobile lights were on. And this was the moment when we could feel the real darkness. Similarly, we had a morning trek into the jungle watching beautiful and colorful birds, their nests, and some forest fruits - viz. Karavand, jambhool etc.
