We visited Naldehra Resort after checking out from Kandaghat Resort in December 2022. On the way, we stopped at Shimla for about an hour. I have attached a photograph of Shimla taken from Mall Road. We had seen many photographs of Naldehra resort which show an extremely beautiful resort sitting on a hilltop but none of them show the steep road to enter the resort possibly because its inclination and curvature are so difficult to capture in a photograph.

The check-in process was simple and quick because of the pre check-in facility in the mobile phone app. Our room had a breathtaking view of the mountains around. I have attached a photograph of this view. Naldehra, during the time of our stay, seemed to have fewer birds than Kandaghat. We saw only the Himalayan Bulbuls and Sunbirds.

From the resort we visited the Carignano Nature Park (photograph attached), the Regional Horticultural Research Station and the Naldehra Golf Course (photograph attached). Our stay at Naldera Resort was very pleasant. The buildings are modern in design, very comfortable to stay in, and very well constructed in a difficult location.

The interior decor in the entire resort was quite interesting. For example, the walls of the staircase in the main building which contains the reception, the restaurants, the Activity Hub, etc., were decorated with photographs from Shimla's colonial past.

The food, as is usual in Club Mahindra resorts, was excellent. We normally dined in the fun dining restaurant, Culture Curry, for buffet meals. We had dinner once in the pan-Asian restaurant, Pine View. It serves extremely delicious food and is worth visiting at least once. Our stay was made more delightful by Nitya, Kaushik and Gurpreet from the restaurant and Arun from the reception. Pristine Peaks, Naldehra, is worth a visit for all members.
