This was a short vacation which we tried to combine with our work visit. On our way back to Goa from Bangalore, we stayed here for 2 nights. It was the peak of monsoons. There was flooding in Goa, Maharashtra, and even Gujarat. But we were lucky to have no rains for the two days we stayed here.

Due to the pandemic, all entertainment activities were closed down at the resort but the staff courtesy made us feel very comfortable. This is a CM-affiliated resort and all the rooms reserved for CM were full. It's a lovely resort, the huge expanse of lawns, ample parking space, a big swimming pool (we did not use it though).

The food was good. Again due to the pandemic there was very little choice of a la carte dishes and there was no room service. Even then, the restaurant staff was very helpful and offered to prepare onion pakoras on one lazy afternoon. Cheers to them.

It's a pity that the Presidential Haveli cannot be booked from the CM app. It's a lovely cottage. Not that our HU was bad but the Presidential Haveli was very tempting. The Studio is awesome too, overlooking the vast lawn.

We also paid a short half-day visit to Hampi ruins. And we are already planning on our next visit to Vijayshree but this time during peak season so that we can avail all the activities that we missed, like horse riding, camel riding, magic and cultural show, etc.
