To begin with, the resort is pristinely located with a broad cum top view of the race course circumvented by commercial road. Accessibility-wise, it is a stone's throw away from the bus stand and the adjacent railway station. We were welcomed traditionally along with a rejuvenating herbal tea. The garden is aesthetically maintained with almost all varieties of flowers that are usually on show at the annual Udhagai flower festival. The stepped nature of the property adds to the beauty of the resort.

The chill weather has been layered with exceedingly warm hospitality by all departments (food, housekeeping, reception, and fun zone) working in cohesion. My special thanks to Mr. Karthik for helping me chose the best possible buffet deal for our family and checking back with us frequently regarding the comfort of our stay. Mr. Alloysius (Travel desk) catered to all our travel needs despite the ad-hoc nature of our requests.

Nothing beats delicious food, in line with this adage, the best part of our stay was savouring the sumptuous spread of buffet across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I might have gained a kilo or two over three days, it was that tasty.

What filled our hearts is the kindness and promptness of this section, special thanks to Vignesh, Murali, Natarajan, Hariharan, Prabhu, and live counter deal maker Prakash. Upon request, Mr. Natarajan readily arranged pizza making for the children as part of fun cooking, the bake came out deliciously thrilling our children. In parallel, we had the crunchiest veg puffs I ever encountered. Coffee on all days was downright relieving. Shoumik helped in customising a fun cum adventure package involving painting, rope lines, trampoline, and archery. Children had lots of fun by immersing themselves in all the activities with Somay encouraging them in the company of Maniraaman. A day later, Harini had arranged a forest trek which was expertly guided by Shana, it was a peaceful and educational experience. Later in the day, the toy train ride to Connoor and back left us with some memorable scenic views.

Like all good things in life, this relaxing and joyous vacation came to an end before we could get to see the full beauty of Ooty, leaving scope to come back and relive the memories. Thank you Club Mahindra for moments that will be etched in memory for a very long time.
