Spreading the joy of creativity

Creative crafts are something we all connect with. Something as simple as the art of folding paper or cloth can help relieve our everyday stress, and what’s more – we love to see that expression of joy on the faces of our guests after they have created their little masterpieces.

Origami or the art of folding is now a full-fledged activity at our holiday activity centres. It all started with a guest who was charmed by the little animal created via towel origami in her room. A lady who was visiting our resort in Binsar, walked into her room to find a cute little fox made from a towel, sitting atop her bedside table. Excited, she asked about the artist and was introduced to a member from the House Keeping team. She then requested him to teach her this art as well.

The House Keeping team then arranged for an Origami class at the holiday activity centre for all the guests. Needless to say, all the members loved this simple and relaxing craft class, and couldn’t thank our team enough. Taking a cue from our member’s feedback, we’ve been hosting regular origami classes in our activity centre, turning a small initiative by the House Keeping team into a bustling most-wanted activity at our Activity Centres.
