The route to Cherai Beach Resort and the resort itself both are excellent. It was the last milestone of our Road Trip. The Road trip was at the end of May and already Kerala was under an amber alert for rains. But still, we enjoyed the sea views with the family and even I got into the aggressive sea tides and had a funny fight with the waves.

The sea roar is audible from the rooms which gives a feelin that we are sleeping on the beach itself. While on the way to the resort, both sides of the road are covered with backwaters of the sea, and were a bit anxious that the road will be covered with water on the day of checkout but were lucky that the road was available. The resort staff was very polite and the food was good. The room was extra spacious and we felt like the olden days Taj properties. The houseboat experience was good.
