Ooty is called the queen of hills in South India and the Derby Green resort is located at the center. We welcomed the new year 2022 in Ooty staying in Derby Green. Incidentally, this is our third trip to Derby green within a span of two years and this says a lot that how the place has charmed us.

The resort is big and at a superb location overlooking the city yet giving a panoramic view of mountains. While Ooty or odhagmandalam is famous for its botanical garden, boathouse and Doddabetta peak, this time we explored a new place called tea park which had a long corridor to walk amid the tea plantation.
