Hello friends. We stayed at Club Mahindra Thekedy Resort from 26th December to 28th December 2021 and it gives great pleasure to share the unforgettable memory and travel experience that will give a pleasant experience. All the staff of the resort are very nice, the quality of the food is also very good.

The route from Madurai to Thekkady provides a pleasant experience that describes the beautiful scenery here. Most important is the Periyar National Tiger Reserve Forest which makes Thekkady the most beautiful. Also the plantations with tea, coffee, black pepper, cardamom and other spices located here provide unique views in their own right. Such an experience or plantation area would not have been seen anywhere else.

We spent 2 days in Periyar Tiger National Forest. We got it booked online. On the first day, we went boating and second day bamboo rafting which was a very exciting and unbelievable moment. Two of us along with family and four-armed personnel of Tiger Resort went inside the forest for 6 kms under security in the forest and then together I did rafting on Bamboo Raft which was quite exciting. The banks of this bamboo raft were wide open, in which first you have to stand and cross the river and it is pulled slowly from the other end of the river. It was a very thrilling moment.

We went 6 kilometers inside the forest, there we saw Nilgiri monkeys, sambar, wild buffalo, boars. We saw elephant bones, tiger claws and deer horns scattered in the forest. The biggest and most beautiful moment was sitting in rafting and walking around the lake was incredible, beautiful, and unimaginable in itself.

The next day I did a jungle border safari in which for the first time I saw the beautiful plantation of spices. It was a very exciting moment to see a herd of elephants on top of the mountain. There will be only one message from all the travellers who come to Thekkady, that definitely go to Periyar National Tiger Reserve Forest and enjoy rafting, boating and jungle safari. I could not go to Gavi forest due to lack of time, which I will definitely watch next time. Thanks to Club Mahindra for this beautiful resort.
