We as a family of 4 stayed in Yercaud which had old restored colonial bungalows. We went from Bangalore to Yercaud. It was a quiet and greenery place with boating very nearby. Food was excellent and had a memorable stay. It is closer to people travelling from Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore area. The air is good and fresh. we can go for relaxing and be away from busy city life. It has beautiful landscapes, breath taking views, plantations galore, gushing waterfalls, hidden temples and lesser known destinations lost inside the mountains. It also has orchards of pears, oranges and acres of coffee and spice plantations
