We visited Club Mahindra Pondicherry just after lockdown was lifted. We stayed for a week, working from the resort during the daytime, evenings we enjoyed the beach and covered a few sightseeing places. The view from the entrance of the resort is breathtaking. The property is huge and very well maintained. You may choose to do nothing and simply laze around the beach. We enjoyed zorbing on the beach. During the weekend we visited the famous Chidambaram temple and Tanjavur Brihadeshwara temple. Both these temples we could easily cover in a day. Amongst the local sightseeing, we covered the Manakula Ganesha temple, the French colony, Auroville, and a couple of beaches. There were numerous beach sports and we had a lovely time playing them. The resort beach was very clean and we enjoyed our morning walks there. The restaurant offered delicious food. There were many activities arranged during the evening to keep the guests engaged. Definitely CM Pondi is a must-visit resort and we will definitely visit again.
