2 kilometres from the iconic Lakshman Jhula lies Ram Jhula. This bridge over the river Ganga was built in 1889 from jute ropes and wood. It was modernised in 1986 in order to allow people to use it as a vantage point to observe the mighty Ganga flowing below.
