Craving for some cheesy pizza? It’s time to take a break from ordering pizza from your favourite pizzeria and try making it at home. Yes! You heard it right. You can make your favourite pizza at home and it’s not as difficult as you think it is. Just follow a few key guidelines and you’ll master the art of making pizza.
Follow these simple steps:
• Put the flour into a large bowl and stir in the yeast and salt. Pour in 200ml warm water and oil and knead for 5 mins until smooth. Then keep the dough in a warm place to rise for about 30 minutes.
• Once the dough is ready, split it into balls and on a floured surface roll out the dough into large rounds using a rolling pin. Combine tomato sauce, oregano and basil and spread it over the pizza base.
• Top it with chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, corn or any other vegetables of your choice and finally some mozzarella cheese.
• Bake at 240°C for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned. Once ready, sprinkle oregano and chili flakes and serve it hot.
