WHAT DOES “APARTMENT TYPE” MEAN AND WHAT ARE ITS IMPLICATIONS?
The “Apartment type” stands for the nature of accommodation under the Club Mahindra Bliss Membership. We endeavor to provide our Members with a Studio Apartment which can cater to 3 adults or a family of 2 adults and two children below 12 years of age. Therefore, the smallest “Apartment type” is the Studio and, 1 Bed Room is larger than Studio and 2 Bed Room is larger than a 1 Bed Room. The maximum number of persons allowed in a 2 Bed Room Apartment is 6 Adults, that of a one Bed Room Apartment is 4 Adults.
WHY DO YOU RESTRICT CHANGE OF NAME AFTER BOOKING CONFIRMATION?
For security reasons & to avoid misuse of your membership by travel agents, any name change once a booking is confirmed is not entertained. To change name of person travelling, you have to cancel the current reservation and rebook the holiday subject to availability of rooms.
WHY SHOULD I BOOK A MINIMUM OF 3 NIGHTS?
This rule has always been part of the product policy & it is to ensure that all members have an opportunity to holiday & experience the holiday to the maximum extent possible.
We only have less than 3 hours to ensure that all the rooms are cleaned before handing it over to the next guest. Hence minimizing the number of check-ins results in a smoother & better check-in experience. Also considering the time it takes to reach our resort locations, we have seen that at least 3 days are required to enjoy both the
facilities we offer at the resort & giving you the time to explore other tourist attractions near the resort in a hassle free manner.
WHY DO YOU LAPSE MY HOLIDAY?
Lapsing has been a part of the product policy since the beginning. While we understand that there are chances that you are unable to take a holiday during a particular year, we have provided you the privilege for accumulating up to 3 years of inventory including the current entitlement. Anything more than this would get automatically lapsed.
WHY DON'T YOU ALLOW MORE THAN 2 ADULTS IN A HOTEL UNIT (HU) APARTMENT?
As per the standards every apartment is designed with a certain occupancy level for a comfortable stay. So we suggest booking the apartments based on the number of people travelling for a comforted holiday as per your apartment eligibility.
WHAT ARE PRIVILEGES AND HOW ARE THEY DIFFERENT FROM BASIC “ENTITLEMENT”?
The Privileges to the Memberships are certain flexibilities which enhance the utility value of the Membership enabling the Members to use the “Entitlement” and have facilities like Splitting of Holidays, Exchange (CMHM Exchanges and RCI Exchanges), Advancing and Accumulation of Holidays. These facilities are available in the terms and conditions of the Membership and also in the Reservation Rules, as amended from time to time, and have been explained in greater details herein below. These facilities/privileges being over and above the basic “Entitlement” of the Membership is extended in as much as and to the extent basic “Entitlement” continues to be ensured to all the Members and may be suitably restricted.
CAN I TRANSFER MY MEMBERSHIP AND HOW CAN IT BE DONE?
Transfer is possible provided the Membership Price has been paid in full and there are no dues in the Membership. Also 5 years must have been completed after taking the Membership. You will have to submit necessary documents like the original Certificate, Membership Card, Authorization Letter and such fees as stated by Mahindra Holidays in this
regard
WHAT IS ACCESS FEE AND WHY IS IT CHARGED?
We wish to point out that Access fee is chargeable for Non Club Mahindra Notified Resort and for Resorts located outside India and not for Club Mahindra Notified Resorts. The List of Notified Resorts and Non Club Mahindra Notified Resorts are available in the web site and we request you to go through the same.
