Our short trip to Pondycherry featured a visit to the Pondycherry Museum, a walk through the French Colony, and the shopping district. Altogether, these sites offered us a glimpse into the French history of the territory and its status as a union territory.

We’d recommend the Coromandel Cafe in the French colony for some relief from the bone-melting heat. Club Mahindra offered a welcome retreat from the heat and bustle of the day. The staff was highly attentive, particularly Rohini and colleagues in the dining area - icing on the cake of a thought-provoking trip!
