Tungi is every Mumbai member’s favourite resort and most members try to come here often to take a break from the humdrum of the city. Everyone is more or less aware of the last 5-6 km bumpy ride to the resort. But once you reach it is all good. The reception area is spacious and the view just outside is a welcome sight.

The service is generally prompt with a nice welcome drink during the wait time to check in. The resort is spread through several acres and you may need a buggy to get around. The rooms are quite nice. In fact we had extended family with us and we took two adjacent 1 BRs with connecting doors. You can spend leisurely time here.

I would suggest either you pre-book your meals or take a package meal deal at the resort because there are no other nearby options for food. The food at Ripples is nice. Watch for timings as it does get crowded in peak hours. The Happy Hub has a fish spa and you can do the 12D movie there too among other games. The view of the lake from the resort is quite nice. The walking area that they have made recently along with kids’ jungle gym is a good refreshing addition.
