Nature is the finest artist—painting skies in shifting hues, sculpting landscapes with time, and composing symphonies with rustling leaves and gentle breeze. One such marvelous creation is the Ashtamudi Lake, a postcard-perfect, palm-fringed expanse of water. At Club Mahindra Ashtamudi, you become part of this masterpiece. Crafted in traditional Kerala style—with sloping tiled roofs, laterite stone walls, and breezy open courtyards—this resort in Kollam blends timeless architectural grace with understated finesse.
Wake up to the gentle lull of water beneath your floating cottage, then drift through the day on a leisurely lake cruise, watching fishermen cast Chinese nets or learning age-old crafts from local artisans. Within the resort, practice morning yoga on the deck, indulge in deeply restorative Ayurvedic therapies, and enjoy classical performances beneath starlit skies.
Dine on soulful regional delicacies at our waterfront restaurant—think spiced karimeen curry, tangy een anga, and crisp banana fritters. Step beyond to explore Kollam’s golden beaches, sacred temples, and vibrant markets—or simply bask in the stillness.
Fly into Trivandrum International Airport, located approximately 70 kilometres from the resort, and enjoy a scenic 3‑hour drive through Kerala’s lush greenery. Alternatively, take a train to Kollam Junction—about 30 kilometres away—and opt for a comfortable taxi or bus ride for the final stretch.
There’s something for everyone at our resort in Ashtamudi—be it a romantic escape or a fun-filled family holiday. Start your day with high-energy Zumba or an exhilarating speedboat ride. During the evenings, expect a candlelit dinner on deck and enjoy a stunning Kathakali performance by local artists.
