The Delhi Cantonment area might seem like a safe and beautiful place during the day, but it is the opposite at night. A few years ago, a woman was killed here, and her ghost haunts the area. People who have passed through the area have reported scary incidents which will send a chill down your spine. Many people have reported seeing a woman asking for a lift at night and suddenly disappearing. The woman suddenly appears behind the car, running behind it at a supernatural speed. Sounds spooky, doesn’t it? No wonder Delhi Cantonment is considered one of the most haunted places in Delhi.

Built in the 14th century by Maharaja Agrasen, this is a beautiful step well made from red stone. There are 103 steps that lead to a water reservoir. Agrasen Ki Baoli is a popular tourist attraction and one of the top haunted places in Delhi. While many visitors visit the Baoli for its spectacular architecture, some do it to experience its spooky side. Many visitors have felt a strange presence on the stairwell leading to the reservoir. Visitors have reported that they have heard footsteps behind them. As soon as they turn around, there is nobody to be seen. Some have even claimed that the footsteps get louder if you try to walk faster. Agrasen Ki Baoli is definitely a must-visit place in Delhi if you are fascinated by ancient architecture and spooky experiences.

This palace served as a community house for villagers in 1600 AD. In 1985, the palace was given away to the self-proclaimed descendants of the royal Oudh blood, Begum Awadh, and her two children. Begum Awadh committed suicide in 1993. Since then, her two children lived in the palace. The last descendent, Prince Ali Raza, was founded dead in September 2017. Since then, the mahal has been an abandoned house under police protection. The palace is said to be one of the most haunted places in Delhi. Many visitors have come here and had very spooky experiences. Even a visit to this palace during the day will give you goosebumps.

Considered one of the most haunted places in Delhi, people don’t dare go near this cemetery even during the day. A soldier committed suicide here after a girl rejected him and his ghost haunts the cemetery. The soldier’s headless body haunts the cemetery. Those who have managed to catch a glimpse of this ghost are scared to the bone. People do not dare to visit the cemetery, but a few have claimed to hear haunting crying and laughing sounds coming from there while passing by the area.

The Delhi Ridge is a forest next to the Delhi University North Campus area. Many students go there between lectures to hang out or take a walk. Many of them have complained of strange activities in the forest area. The Delhi Ridge area is haunted by the ghost of a British gentleman from the colonial era. Visitors have reported that there have been times when the area has gone so still and quiet that you can’t hear a single bird chirping. There is an eerie vibe to the area and the moment you try to make a phone call the signal goes haywire. It is truly one of the most haunted places in Delhi.
