A special pudding made of flour, curd, and jaggery is prepared and songs are sung during this festival.
It’s a one-of-a-kind musical Holi unique to the state, Uttarakhand. Also known as Baithki Holi and Khari Holi, it begins with Holiyars (Holi singers) performing folk songs to the tunes of classical music in temples, post which it spreads to the other village areas.
