An 8-year-old boy, Kevin, living in a huge family with elder siblings, is tired of being bullied and made fun of. He secretly wishes to be left alone, and his wish comes true. However, when his family accidentally leaves him alone at home while leaving for Christmas vacation, his fun of ordering Pizzas and having the house to himself is short-lived.
He faces a huge challenge of protecting his home from two notorious burglars. From setting traps to using all the tricks up his sleeve, he does his best to protect his house. One of the best family Christmas movies, it will surely keep you and your kids glued to the screen.

Made in 2003, this is one of the best holiday movies for kids. The movie stars Will Farrell as Buddy, an oversized elf, directed by Jon Favreau.
Buddy, a toddler, and an orphan, accidentally lands in Santa’s sack as he visits an orphanage to give gifts to the kids. Ending up at the North Pole, Buddy is raised by the elves and identifies as one. However, as he grows into an adult, the reality strikes him that he’s not an elf. With Santa’s permission, he returns to New York in search of his father, dressed as an elf. However, Walter Hobbs (played by James Caan) doesn’t take the news very well.
He gets kicked out of his father’s office in the Empire State Building. But Buddy is persistent and what follows is an adventure of an elf coming to terms with the city life and a father who’s not willing to take him. What happens next is something you should watch with your kid.
The first choice of Buddy, the main character, was Jim Carrey and not Will Farrell. However, today it’s listed as one of the best works of Will Farrell.

A movie by Steven Spielberg, the maker of Jurassic Park, The Terminal, Jaws and many more classics, this 1984 movie is as good today as it was back in the day. The best part about this movie is how perfectly it mixes comedy with horror.
A young man is living near-perfect life until he’s given a strange Christmas gift by his parents - a gremlin as a pet. However, he’s unaware of the 3 rules that should never be broken with a Gremlin. He breaks those rules unknowingly and what follows is the horror of multiplied Gremlins wreaking havoc in the lives of the young man and the streets of a small town.
Stripe and Gizmo, two notorious Gremlins, were both supposed to be played by the character in the original plot. However, on Spielberg’s insistence, a friendly gremlin character- was separated from the bad one. Many say this became one of the main reasons for the movie's tremendous popularity.

One of the latest additions to the best kids' Christmas movies must be The Guardians of Galaxy Holiday Special, especially if you or your kid are a Marvel fan.
Quill (Played by Chris Pratt) is still upset over the loss of Gamora (after Tony Stark snaps his fingers in Avengers Endgame). And Christmas brings back old memories of how Yondu Udonta ruins Quill’s Christmas as a child. However, the other Guardians make it their mission to make Christmas unforgettable for him.
This movie marks the entry of Kevin Bacon into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While there are many other Kids’ Christmas movies that you can pick, these 4 should be on your watchlist. So, what are you waiting for? Pop some corn, get your blankets, snuggle up with your kids, and watch these amazing Christmas movies.
