Vande Bharat bus from Palampur to Amb launched by Himachal Pradesh Tourism, special discounts for soldiers and journalists.

In a significant move to boost connectivity and promote tourism, Himachal Pradesh Tourism has launched the Vande Bharat bus service, connecting Palampur to Amb in Una district. This initiative not only enhances accessibility for locals but also opens up new avenues for tourists to explore the picturesque landscapes of the region.

The Vande Bharat bus service aims to provide a comfortable and efficient mode of transportation between Palampur and Amb, facilitating seamless travel for residents and visitors alike. The service boasts well-equipped buses, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey for passengers. Starting from Palampur at 8:00 am, the Vande Bharat bus will offer a comfortable journey for tourists, departing from Amb to Kangra and back to Palampur by 11:30 am.

One notable aspect of this initiative is the special consideration given to soldiers and journalists. To express gratitude for their service and dedication, Himachal Pradesh Tourism is offering exclusive discounts for military personnel and journalists traveling on the Vande Bharat bus. All current and ex-servicemen from the state will be entitled to a 50 percent discount on their stays in state tourism hotels for eight months, and a 30 percent discount for the remaining four months, March, April, May, and June. In addition to this, soldiers can avail 30 percent discount on food expenses.

The decision to prioritize soldiers aligns with the spirit of honoring their sacrifices and acknowledging their role in safeguarding the nation. By extending discounts to journalists, the initiative also recognizes the importance of media professionals in promoting tourism and sharing the captivating stories of Himachal Pradesh with a broader audience.

The introduction of the Vande Bharat bus service and the associated discounts reflects the state's commitment to fostering tourism while honoring those who serve the nation. As the buses embark on their journeys between Palampur and Amb, locals, tourists, soldiers, and journalists alike can anticipate a more connected and accessible travel experience, creating a positive impact on both the local economy and the tourism sector in Himachal Pradesh.
