Countries have been placed under such restrictions to reduce the spread of the disease and help flatten the curve as much and as quickly as possible. People have been advised to minimize visits and to restrict stepping out only for groceries and essentials.
We will admit, even to just take a breath of fresh air seems like a scary thought. Having to step out to buy basic items kind of feels like you are toying with your health and safety. While a cough or a sneeze was considered rather harmless in the past, that is not the case today. This is very important for any individual who is suffering from flu and is constantly coughing or sneezing. Now, governments have made it mandatory for every individual who steps out of his/her house to wear a mask. It is just to be on the safer side in case you are standing too close to someone who may be infected but doesn’t know it yet and you may end up breathing in the virus too.
Sanitizers are hard to come by during the coronavirus lockdown but if you do have one, cherish it and use it properly. While stepping out, make sure that the sanitizer is in your bag - it is going to be like a talisman you carry everywhere with you. If you are touching any item or surface without gloves, use that hand sanitizer immediately.
It is essential that every individual maintains a minimum of 3 feet distance from another individual while waiting in a queue or standing in a public space. You can catch the virus by simply breathing in the air if you are too close to someone who is infected. Practicing social distancing means its best if you stay home and stay safe.
