Mango Milkshake Mango Lemonade

Come summers and we only need two main things – sweet, juicy and divine summer fruit mango and refreshing, cooling drinks. What if we bring the goodness and richness of the king of fruits to the beverage menu and make your drinks all the more cool and tasty? Can’t get any better, right! To help you make delicious and amazing beverages using mangoes, we bring  eight wonderful mango drinks recipes, which are easy to make at home. Channelize your inner chef and get ready to enjoy this bright, sunny summer season at home by preparing yummy drinks with the below-mentioned recipes.

Mango Milkshake:

Take two mangoes and wash them under water. Pat dry using a clean towel, peel and chop them. Once done, add these chopped mangoes to a blender. Subsequently, add ice cubes (not mandatory) and milk to the blender and blend the prepared mixture. Remember, the consistency of this blended mixture should not be too thick. Once you feel that the desired consistency has been achieved, pour the same into glasses and your mango milkshake is ready to be served.

Mango Lemonade:

Easy to make and delicious to drink, mango lemonade recipe is second on our list. Take two mangoes, which have been thoroughly washed and cleaned. Peel, chop and make a pulp from these mangoes. Take one lemon and squeeze it properly to extract the juice. Now, add the pulp and lemon juice to a large pitcher. Add water, cubes of ice and honey as per your taste (you can add sugar syrup too in place of honey). Chill this concoction for some time in the refrigerator. Pour mango lemonade in glasses and serve immediately. You can also garnish the drink with some mint leaves.

Mango Fruity Mango Mint Lassi

Mango Fruity:

Yummy in taste, mango fruity can be easily prepared and is a perfect summer drink. Take two ripe mangoes and one raw mango. Peel and chop these mangoes and discard the seeds. Put these chopped mangoes in a pressure cooker and boil them for nearly 4-5 whistles. Turn off the flame and let mangoes cool completely. Add sugar and water to a pan and heat the mix on medium flame till it starts boiling. Make sure that sugar is completely dissolved. Turn off the flame and let sugar-water syrup cool down. Blend mango pulp and syrup into a smooth paste. Take this mix out in a big jar and add water to it (on the basis of your taste). Stir well and put the jar in the refrigerator for nearly 2-3 hours. Pour in glasses and add ice cubes. Your tasty mango fruity is ready to be served.

Mango Mint Lassi:

Take two medium mangoes and some mint leaves. Wash them properly under running water. Drain the excess water and cut the mangoes into slices after peeling. In a blender jar, add the sliced mangoes, two cup yoghurt, half tsp green cardamom, one-fourth cup orange juice, 1 tsp honey and some ice cubes. Blend until you receive smooth consistency. Transfer the lassi to glasses and use mint leaves to garnish. Serve immediately. You can also add more honey or sugar as per your requirements.

Mango Thandai Mango Smoothie

Mango Thandai:

 Soak 12 almonds, 2 tbsp poppy seeds, 3 tbsp fennel seeds, 2 tsp cucumber seeds and 70 gm rose petals in water overnight. The next morning, peel the almonds’ skin and grind all the seeds into a smooth paste. Boil 1 litre full-cream milk in a deep vessel and reduce it to half. Grind sugar (as required), half tsp cardamom powder and half tsp black pepper and add the mix to boiled milk. Cut two mangoes and make a puree. Add pureed mango to the milk and blend it again. Subsequently, add the seeds paste and mix well. Pour into desired glasses and add crushed ice. Mango thandai is ready for serving. You can add some more almonds and fresh cream to make this drink all the more creamy.

Mango Smoothie:

Take four medium-sized mangoes, peel and chop them into small pieces. Add the chopped pieces to a blender jar and blend them to make mango pulp. Add 250 ml beaten yoghurt to the jar and blend again. Take crushed ice in a glass and pour the mixture over it. Sprinkle half tsp clove powder and garnish with mint leaves. This refreshing and delicious summer cooler is ready to be consumed.

Mango Colada Aam Panna

Mango Colada:

Take 2 cups of chopped pineapple, 1 cup of chopped papaya, 1 cup of peeled and diced mango and 2 chopped medium-sized bananas. Place all these fruits into a blender and add 1½ cup coconut milk, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp milk, 2 tbsp fresh cream and some ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Garnish with ice cubes and serve.

Aam Panna:

A delightful and refreshing Indian summer drink, aam panna is a must-have beverage. Take three raw mangoes and put them in a pan. Put this pan on medium flame and let the mangoes boil. Take another pan and add 100 gm sugar and 250 ml water to it. Let the mix boil on medium flame. Once this mix cools down, you can use it as sugar syrup. When the mangoes are properly cooked, remove the seeds and skin. Strain the water and keep it aside. Don’t throw the water away. Keep the mangoes at room temperature and allow them to cool. Take out the pulp and grind in a grinder. Take the grinded mango pulp in a pan and add sugar syrup, roasted cumin powder (as per taste), 1/2 teaspoon salt (as required) and 8-10 mint leaves. Put the pan on medium flame and let the pulp dissolve. Add the water (in which the mangoes were boiled) to this pan for enhancing the flavour. Cook it for nearly five minutes on low flame. Take the pan down and let it cool at room temperature. Once done, put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Subsequently, pour the drink into glasses and serve immediately.
