Did you know?

Pancakes were first made by the Romans in the 1st Century AD, and they were made with flour, eggs, milk, and spices. In the UK, Ireland, and Australia, people celebrate Pancake Day or Pancake Tuesday on the last Tuesday before the start of Lent, the 40 days of abstinence before Easter. The main idea of this day was to empty the pantry of all sugar, fats, and eggs to resist temptation and reduce waste.
