Known as the Niagra Falls of India, Jog Falls is the second highest waterfall in the country. The waterfall cascades down from a height of 253 metres onto the rocks. Located on the Sharavati river in the Western Ghats, the surrounding view of the waterfall is lush green and scenic. This is one of the most famous waterfalls in Karnataka. Its beauty is magnified during the monsoons as the surrounding areas become even lusher with the heavy rainfall.

Located very close to Bangalore, the Chunchi waterfall is fed by the Arkavati river. The waterfall cascade from the height of 50 feet. This one has to be one of the most stunning waterfalls in Karnataka. Arasina Makki falls is located inside Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary. To get there, you have to trek through the dense forests of the Kodachari Hills for 1-2 km. The waterfall cascades down 50 meters into a naturally formed pool.
