Located at Paro, this dzong can be spotted from anywhere in the valley. The formal name for this monastery fortress is Rinchen Pung Dzong, meaning 'Fortress on a Heap of Jewels'. With its ornate carvings, beautiful murals and beautiful architecture, you’ll see why this is an apt name.
