The Toboggan Slope is located in Kaunispää Fell, and it is the longest in the whole of Europe. You can try the Aurora Tobogganing at Saariselkä with a tour guide or on your own. The activity begins with a chair lift ride to the very top of Kaunispää Fell. You can take a few moments for yourself as you see the entire Saariselkä city unravel in front of your eyes as an ocean of sparkling twinkling lights. You would not want to capture it for Instagram as that would mean sharing the magical sight with others. No, this one is strictly for the family only!

The Toboggan Slope is taken to an altogether new level thanks to the illumination art. They have brought the northern lights to the slope. Can you imagine the jaw dropping wonder your kids will experience when they go sledding down the mountains in the enchanting polar lights? The ride itself is beautiful. It starts at the top and as you follow the path of the Aurora lights, the trail ends in the valley. Sometimes during springtime, the lights are switched off as there is enough natural bright light.
