At an altitude of 10, 600 feet and covering 36 square kilometres, Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary stands still and tranquil, up in the misty mountains of Sikkim. Home to rare animals such as the cute Red Panda and the majestic Goral, this sanctuary also houses many rare medicinal plants.
