Maharshi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhyadham, is the closest, about 8 km away, with Lucknow Airport as an alternative (140 km).

Auto-rickshaws and cycle-rickshaws are easily available for travel within Ayodhya.

The best time to visit Ram Mandir is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and suitable for sightseeing. This period also includes major festivals like Diwali and Ram Navami, enhancing the spiritual experience. Early mornings are ideal for a peaceful darshan, avoiding peak crowds.
