By Air

One of the quickest ways to reach Goa from Mumbai is to travel by flight. The distance between the two destinations is about 400 km by air, and if you take a flight, you can reach Goa in approximately 1.5 hours via a non-stop flight. All flights land at Goa International Airport in Dabolim which is the only airport in the state.

Note that the Goa airport is situated outside the city, which means it can take you about an hour and a half to reach the city. 

By Road

They say you haven't travelled if you haven't made a road trip from Mumbai to Goa.

Mumbai to Goa distance is roughly 600 km by road, and it can take you anywhere between 11-15 hours to cover the distance.

You can take the following route if you’re travelling by car.

Mumbai > Pune > Satara > Kolhapur > Belgaum > Goa

By Rail

Travelling by train is also a budget-friendly option if you are wondering how to reach Mumbai to Goa. Many trains run between Mumbai and Goa that you can choose from. It takes an average of 8-10 hours to reach Goa by train. Vasco Da Gama is the main railway station in Goa.
